Terms of Service for MintShorts

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://mintshorts.ai and its AI video-generation, scheduling, and social-publishing services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally permitted to use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your MintShorts account and connected social accounts.
2. The Service
MintShorts uses automated and AI-assisted tools to generate scripts, visuals, narration, audio, captions, and short-form videos from the topics, prompts, and settings you provide. You may preview, revise, download, schedule, and, where supported, publish generated videos to connected social accounts.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to other content, or unsuitable for your intended use. You must review content and publishing settings before use. We do not guarantee views, engagement, monetization, platform acceptance, originality, or any particular business result.
3. Your content and permissions
As between you and MintShorts, you retain any rights you hold in prompts, uploads, and generated videos, subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and provider terms. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited license to host, copy, modify, process, transmit, and display your content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and carry out your generation, storage, download, and publishing instructions.
You represent that you have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents required for content you submit or publish, including music, images, names, likenesses, trademarks, and personal information. MintShorts does not grant you rights to third-party content or guarantee that generated output will not resemble material created for another user.
4. Connected social platforms
Connecting YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram is optional. When you connect an account, you authorize MintShorts to access the limited account information shown during OAuth, maintain the connection using access or refresh tokens, and perform the publishing actions you select. MintShorts is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for YouTube, Google, TikTok, Instagram, or Meta. Platform features, permissions, quotas, and availability may change or be suspended by the platform.
YouTube
By using YouTube features through MintShorts, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. You authorize uploads to the channel connected through Google OAuth and must select the video's visibility and whether it is made for children. You can disconnect YouTube in Dashboard Settings or revoke access through Google Account permissions.
TikTok
TikTok publishing is subject to the TikTok Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, music rules, branded-content rules, and Content Posting API restrictions. Each TikTok post requires your review of the connected creator account, caption, visibility, interaction options, commercial-content disclosures, and required consent. You are responsible for accurate disclosures and for having rights to all video and audio. TikTok may restrict unaudited API clients to private posting.
Instagram publishing is available only for eligible professional Business or Creator accounts and is subject to the Instagram Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, music and intellectual-property rules, API quotas, and Meta platform requirements. You authorize MintShorts to publish approved Reels and, when you enable series auto-posting, future videos generated under that series configuration.
Disconnecting a platform stops future MintShorts publishing but does not delete videos already published there. You must manage published content on the applicable platform. You remain responsible for your connected accounts, captions, metadata, privacy choices, audience designations, AI-generated or commercial-content labels, schedules, and compliance with platform rules.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to create, store, or publish content that:
- Is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, or abusive.
- Infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Sexualizes or exploits minors or facilitates child abuse.
- Impersonates another person or misrepresents affiliation or endorsement.
- Contains malware or attempts to disrupt, probe, or bypass the Service.
- Creates spam, artificial engagement, or coordinated platform manipulation.
- Violates the rules of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Meta, or another provider.
We may remove content, limit features, suspend publishing, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to address violations, legal requests, security risks, provider requirements, or harm to the Service or others.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and credits
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed through Stripe at the price and interval shown at checkout. You authorize applicable recurring charges until cancellation. You may cancel from account settings; unless otherwise stated, access continues through the end of the paid billing period.
Generating videos consumes credits. Each paid plan adds its monthly credit allowance to your balance when the subscription starts and again on each renewal. You may also buy one-time credit packs at any time. All credits go into a single balance, and the price of any generation is shown before you confirm it.
Unused credits carry over: they do not expire at the end of a billing period, and credits already in your balance remain available if you cancel or your subscription lapses, although features that require an active plan (such as scheduled series) stop when the plan ends. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable between accounts. Changing plan mid-cycle does not add a further allowance before your next renewal. Credits consumed by a generation that fails through no fault of yours are returned to your balance automatically.
Plan limits, credit prices, and features may change; we will give reasonable notice of changes that reduce credits already purchased.
New subscribers may request a refund within 30 days of their first purchase by contacting support. Refund eligibility may be limited where required to prevent abuse and is always subject to non-waivable consumer rights. Taxes, currency conversion, and third-party payment charges may apply.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure, AI, payment, storage, communications, and social-platform APIs. Your use of those features may be subject to additional third-party terms. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, content, account actions, or data practices.
8. MintShorts intellectual property
The Service, software, workflows, interface, branding, and documentation are owned by or licensed to MintShorts and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, reverse engineer, frame, scrape, or misuse those materials except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.
9. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an evolving basis. Generation or publishing may be delayed, fail, or become unavailable because of processing limits, provider outages, API quotas, moderation, account restrictions, or platform changes. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable usage or security limits.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and security. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MintShorts and its operators, affiliates, suppliers, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, content, audience, or business opportunity arising from the Service or connected platforms. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MintShorts and its operators, affiliates, suppliers, and personnel from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your content, connected accounts, violation of these Terms or platform rules, or infringement of another person's rights.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service, disconnect social accounts, or permanently delete your account from Dashboard Settings at any time. Account deletion cancels the linked Stripe customer subscription and removes MintShorts-owned account data, but does not remove content already published on third-party platforms or automatically refund previous charges. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, nonpayment, security threats, legal requirements, provider demands, or discontinuation of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including content responsibility, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and indemnity—will survive.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
