Privacy Policy for mintshorts.ai

Last updated: August 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how mintshorts.ai ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when you use https://mintshorts.ai and its video-generation and publishing services.

1. Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, profile details, service preferences, prompts, niches, video settings, generated content, and usage information. Stripe processes payment information; we do not store complete card details on our servers. We may also process IP address, browser, device, cookie, and diagnostic information to secure and improve the service.

2. Google and YouTube user data

If you choose to connect YouTube, we request the Google OAuth scopes youtube.upload and youtube.readonly. We access and store the connected YouTube channel identifier and display name, OAuth access and refresh tokens, and the video identifier, status, and URL returned by uploads. We do not request your Google password, viewing history, comments, subscriptions, YouTube Analytics, or advertising data.

We use this Google data only to identify the connected channel and upload videos the user configures for publishing, with the selected metadata, visibility, audience designation, and schedule. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See our detailed Google API Disclosure.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users; generate, render, store, schedule, and publish videos; operate subscriptions; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain the service; and send requested account or product notifications.

4. How we share information

We share information only as necessary with service providers that operate hosting, storage, payments, email, AI generation, and the social platforms a user chooses to connect. These providers process information on our behalf under applicable confidentiality and security obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not sell or rent personal information.

5. Storage and security

Connected-account tokens are held in an access-controlled database and are protected in transit with TLS and by our hosting provider's encryption at rest. Access is limited to server-side processes that need the credentials to provide the requested connection and publishing features. No method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information involved.

6. Retention, revocation, and deletion

Account information and generated content are retained while the account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. A user can disconnect YouTube in dashboard settings; this revokes the Google OAuth grant and deletes the stored YouTube tokens and channel details. A user can also revoke access from Google Account permissions.

Revoking or disconnecting access does not delete videos already stored on YouTube; those must be managed in YouTube Studio. When access is revoked or can no longer be refreshed, we stop using the connection and delete its stored Google API data. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing cs@xrdivision.com. Verified deletion requests are processed as soon as possible and within seven calendar days, except where retention is legally required.

7. Children's privacy

mintshorts.ai is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Creators remain responsible for accurately selecting whether videos uploaded to YouTube are made for kids.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the revised date on this page. For privacy questions or access, correction, or deletion requests, contact cs@xrdivision.com.
